Polyvine Glazes

PolyvineGragg’s Paint represents Polyvine Glazes, including Polyvine Scumble and Contractor Glazes. Polyvine's history of innovation in the decorative paint industry has enabled us to formulate the only acrylic glazes with the same open time as traditional oils.

Polyvine ScumbleScumble (with graphic from link?) Acrylic Scumble is a clear water-based transparent glaze for Decorative Effects. When colored with Polyvine colorizers produces a transparent colored glaze. The wet glaze is applied over painted surfaces and patterned with a tool to produce a wide range of attractive patterns and shades. The colored glaze dries to a durable water-resistant finish which does not age or yellow. Acrylic Scumble is unique in providing up to one hour working time.

Polyvine Contractor GlazeContractor Glaze A transparent glaze to mix with emulsion / latex paint. Produce your finished effects on a test board coated with your chosen basecolour before application. Try the effects with different colours. The Contractor Glaze has a long open time, yet dries flat, and retains the color of the paint – Its perfect for Large Jobs. We at Gragg’s love the unique packaging for this product – a 5 quart pail, filled with 4 quarts of Glaze with room to add up to one quart of latex paint to color the glaze!
